I believe today is my record for sap collection at about 90L. To be fair, some of that would have been from yesterday (Good Friday) when I didn’t collect, but the high that day was only 3 degrees so it wouldn’t have added up to very much. I went out 3 times during the day to make sure the containers wouldn’t overflow, although some smaller and even milk jugs still did.

The tree buds are swelling a bit, but haven’t opened so I’m hoping this will still make a good batch, but it could be the last for the year.
